DENGUE OVERVIEW
Dengue fever, also known as breakbone fever, is a tropical infectious disease widely found in Africa, South and Southeast Asia, Australia, South America and the Caribbean. Dengue is commonly transmitted through mosquito bites and is a very serious infection as it can cause hemorrhagic fever, leading to death.

DENGUE RAPID TESTS
The NTBIO Dengue Rapid Tests are simplistic, qualitative immunoassays that rapidly determine if the Dengue Virus antigens (NS1) or Dengue IgG/IgM antibodies are present in your serum/plasma sample.

DEN NS1 VS DEN IGG/IGM TESTING

Once an individual is infected, antigen NS1 from the dengue virus becomes present and is detectable through our Dengue NS1 test. Antibodies IgG and IgM against the virus only becomes detectable a few days after the patient’s first contact with the virus. After a week, NS1 would not be detectable, which is why our Dengue IgG/IgM test can be used to detect the later stages of Dengue infection!

This test only provides a preliminary analytical test result; final diagnosis of dengue fever should be done in conjunction with other diagnostic methods such as ELISA and PCR.

NTBIO® Dengue2 NS1 antigen and IgG/IgM antibody Rapid Test Kit provides a rapid, convenient and easy-to-interpret qualitative immunochromatographic in-vitro diagnostic assay dedicated to the differential detection of both dengue virus NS1 antigen and antibodies to Dengue virus (Dengue IgG/IgM) in human serum, plasma or whole blood. This Dengue Duo rapid test contains two test devices (left side; Dengue NS1 Ag test, right side; Dengue IgG/IgM test) and provides a preliminary analytical test result; final diagnosis of dengue fever should be done in conjunction with other diagnostic methods such as ELISA and PCR.

デング熱は、アフリカ・南アジア・東南アジア・オーストラリア・北アメリカおよびカリブ海地域と広範囲で観測されている熱帯感染症です。デングウイルスは主に蚊を介して媒介し、出血熱を伴う深刻な感染症を引き起こします。

NTBIO社のデング熱迅速測定キットは、簡便な操作でサンプル中のデングウイルス抗原（NS1）およびデングウイルス抗体（IgG/IgM）を定性的に検出します。

DEN NS1検査とDEN IGG/IGM検査

デングウイルスに感染すると感染者の血液中にデングウイルスのNS1抗原が現れ、このNS1抗原はデングNS1キットで検出することが可能です。デングウイルスに対するIgGとIgMは、感染の数日後から検出が可能になります。感染の1週間後にはNS1は検出できなくなるため、デングウイルス感染の後期はデングIgG/IgMキットにより検定されます。
