RIG-I簡介

RIG-I (維甲酸誘導基因蛋白I，retinoic acid inducible gene-I) 是存在於細胞質中的一種RNA解旋酶, 全長為925aa，分子量約116kDa。在其N端有兩個CARD結構域 (caspase recruitment domains)，而在其C端有一個涉及RNA結合的CTD結構域 (c terminal domain)。

RIG-I能干涉先天免疫系統，并且已知其可識別諸如流感病毒，仙台病毒，和肝炎病毒等的細胞內RNA，並激活I型干擾素基因(type I interferon gene)和炎性細胞因子基因(inflammatory cytokine gene)。

About RIG-I

RIG-I (retinoic acid inducible gene-I) is an RNA helicase in the cytoplasm, a protein molecule with a total length of 925aa and approximately 116kDa. There are two CARD (caspase recruitment domains) on the N-terminal, and there is a CTD (c terminal domain) involved in RNA binding on the C-terminal.

RIG-I is a molecule that works in the innate immune system and is known to recognize intracellular RNA such as influenza virus, Sendai virus, and hepatitis virus, and to activate type I interferon genes and inflammatory cytokine genes.

RIG-Iとは

RIG-I（retinoic acid inducible gene-I）は、細胞質内に存在するRNAヘリカーゼであり、全長925aa、約116kDaのタンパク質分子です。N末側には２つのCARD（caspase recruitment domain）を持ち、C末側にはRNAの結合に関与するCTD（c terminal domain）が存在します。

RIG-Iは自然免疫系で働く分子であり、インフルエンザウイルス、センダイウイルス、肝炎ウイルスなどのRNAを細胞内で認識し、Ⅰ型インターフェロン遺伝子や炎症性サイトカイン遺伝子などを活性化することが知られています。
